In this page, we present additional experiments that illustrate the performance of our algorithms. To prevent sampling and aliasing artefacts, we suggest to view each halftoning in its full resolution by clicking onto the images.
The last two images show single and multi-class sampling examples involving the MIA-logo (see upper left corner of this page). Each sprite was used in three different sizes, and each individual sprite is rotated by a random angle to avoid regular patterns. The images were generated from images of daisies (Author: André Karwath, commons.wikimedia.org, CC-BY-SA), salami (User:vagabondvince310, flickr.com, CC-BY), mushrooms (User:cyclonebill, flickr.com, CC-BY-SA), and ham (User:fugutabetai_shyashin, flickr.com, CC-BY-NC-SA). |
