Joint Estimation of Motion, Structure and
Geometry from Stereo Sequences

For evaluating the quality of our approach, we created a synthetic test sequence with a general stereo geometry. It depicts a textured sphere with rotating hemispheres that is positioned against a plane in the background. Below, we show the sequence together with the ground truth flow fields.

The general sphere sequence can be downloaded here . The .zip file contains the four images (left and right images at time t and t+1) as PGM files. If you use other file types please convert the images, e.g. by using Image Magick . We additionally provide the ground truth for the three unknown flow fields: (i) the optical flow between the left image at time t and t+1, (ii) the stereo flow between the left and the right image at time t, and (iii) the change in flow. The ground truth is encoded in the binary Barron format, having the extension .F. A C-routine to read in Barron files can be downloaded here.
