The conference takes place at Schlösschen Schönburg, a little castle built in the style of classicism surrounded by a beautiful park area. It is located in the outskirts of Hofgeismar, a small town close to Kassel in the center of Germany. It can easily be reached by train from major airports such as Frankfurt. The scenic landscape around Hofgeismar is famous for its fairy tales, legends and castles.
The participants are accomodated at the buildings of the Protestant Academy next to Schlösschen Schönburg. Apart from the conference rooms, numerous opportunities for stimulating discussions are offered in the reading rooms and the wine cellar of Schlösschen Schönburg.
The conference schedule includes a half-day excursion on April 8. It is planned to visit the historic town of Hannoversch Münden with its more than 600 half-timbered houses.
Afterwards we take a guided tour through a local brewery, which is followed by a beer tasting (nonalcoholic beverages are available as well).
The evening banquet is taking place within the enchanted chambers of the medieval Trendelburg Castle.
